Schock Land Surveying was founded by Joel Schock, a professionally licensed land surveyor based on Kauaʻi, Hawaiʻi. With nearly a decade of experience across both field and office operations, Joel started this company with a clear purpose: to bring a higher standard of precision and professionalism to land survey work across the islands.

Over his career, Joel has worked with surveying firms throughout Hawaiʻi and California, building hands-on expertise across a wide range of survey types — boundary, topographic, ALTA, construction, aerial, and control surveys. He is proficient in GNSS, robotic total station, and UAS technologies, and holds an FAA Remote Pilot Certification that allows him to deploy drone-based survey methods on projects where conventional field approaches are less efficient or impractical.
